Evening Road Rides

Rides start at Bamber Valley School on Mondays and at Bicycle Sports on Wednesdays, we leave at 6:00 pm both nights. We have three groups to chose from, a Easy Rider Group (11 to 13 mph), a Fitness Group (14 to 16 mph) and a Fast Road Group (18 plus mph). Route distance varies week to week. Snow Crush

Join us for the 4th Annual Snow Crush Fat Tire Race on the groomed cross-country ski trials of River Bend Nature Center! Milltown Cycles and Cannon River Off-Road Cycling and Trails have once again teamed up in providing a challenging and picturesque course. There is an 8-, 12- and 16-mile race, great for all levels of fat tire enthusiasts. The 8-mile race will be slightly shorter this year with one less hill to climb and descend. After the race meet at 10,000 Drops Craft Distillers in downtown Faribault for race awards, SWAG giveaways and hot food! Receive a two-for-one with your registration. $500 total purse plus additional awards will be given. Price goes up $5 per race for day-of registration. Preregistration closes at midnight on Thursday the 10th. Race Sign-in: 11:00 - 12:30 PM Race Meeting: 12:45 PM Race Start: 1:00 PM Male and Female categories and awards for each race distance. A significant portion of the proceeds benefit CROCT in their continuing efforts in providing and maintaining local singletrack trails. January 12, 2019

Freezer Burn

Freezer Burn is a Fatbike race at Springvale Isanti County Park that is happening on January 12th. Fat bike racing 6, 12, or 18 miles of logging trails, single track, and ice. Hot dogs, coffee, and hot chocolate. We will have a bonfire going to keep you warm. All money goes to the parks to build more trails. January 12, 2019

Bike Swap

The 2019 Twin Cities Bike Swap is Sunday, February 10. What better place to find the perfect Valentines Day gift than at the Bike Swap where any and all things bikes can be found. This has become an institution on the Twin Cities cycling scene that you do not want to miss. What’s happening in 2019? This year, we return to the spacious Expo Center at the National Sports Center campus! Explore over 11,000 sf of bicycle treasure! You’ll find everything from BMX and mountain bikes, to vintage road and track racing equipment. The Expo Center has easy access and free parking. All proceeds from your $5 admission fees support the National Sports Center Velodrome. February 10, 2019

2019 Fat Bike Birkie

The 45NRTH Fat Bike Birkie, Presented by Freewheel Bike, is the premier on snow bike event in North America. Riders test their skill and endurance on the professionally groomed American Birkebeiner Ski Trail! Two days of fun! Friday, March 8 – Check out the Fat Bike Birkie EXPO and Fat Bike Demos! March 9 – Race day and a Post-Race Party in the Great Hall! March 8 - 9, 2019 

Miesville FiftySix

The Miesville FiftySix is a gravel road ride through some of the most beautiful parts of Dakota County and just minutes southeast of the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. The route will consist of 56 miles in Dakota County and the Cannon River Valley. Many gravel enthusiasts have told us that this is one of their favorite rides of the year. Not much will change for 2019. Some new updates, but nothing too dramatic. The Miesville FiftySix is open to everyone and anyone who likes to ride bikes. We will be capping the event at 450 participants, but this year with a little twist. The registration process will open on Sunday, February 24, 2019. Although postcards are cool, they are a lot of work, so we will be dialing it back and using a registration process through the Google Forms. Parking will be in the back lot of the Miesville Mudhens baseball stadium. Make sure you don’t park anywhere where it is roped off or states NO PARKING. Overflow parking is available at Neiburs as well. For the latecomers, that will be your best bet. We are very excited for the fifth annual Miesville FiftySix. April 28, 2019

Welcome to the 12th Annual Tour de Pepin! Join us for the Midwest's most unique cycling tour. Enjoy captivating terrain and historic towns around Lake Pepin along the Great River Road, as well as scenic views from the comfort of a genuine replica 1800s paddleboat.

The Westside Dirty Benjamin

Wow, it's the 10-year mark! Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 8th for the 10th edition of The Westside Dirty Benjamin. Hopefully, the weather will take it easy on us this year! Registration will open in early February. The course will be changed slightly for 2019, more recon needs to be done but there will be at least one less climb. Looking forward to seeing everybody out riding again!! Registration closes May 31st. June 8, 2019

Hillfest - Prescott, WI

Join us in Prescott for a ride through some of the most beautiful backcountry roads Wisconsin has to offer. Just a short drive from the Twin Cities, riders on road bikes, cross bikes and mountain bikes tackle up to 4,000 feet of elevation gain on the 100-mile course.

60-mile, 35-mile routes are also available if you're looking for a shorter ride.

Believe In Me

On June 15,2019 we will have the 4th annual “Believe In Me” Bike Ride presented by Greater Rochester Rotary and many fine Sponsors. This is a bike ride that is made for everyone from families and beginners to very experienced bike riders.

It is called “Believe in Me” as the funds raised will go 100% toward critical youth programs such as “STRIVE”, a program which partners mentors to struggling High School students, which has results that have been miraculous. Greater Rochester Rotary also raise money to delivery large picture dictionaries to 100% of Rochester’s Public and Private School 3rd graders. “Believe In Me” also refers to the families and beginning riders who are just starting out as this is an event to encourage physical activity and healthy living.

There will be a Trail Ride of 6 miles or 14 miles which will be entirely on Rochester’s wonderful bike path system. The other rides are a 34-mile ride, a 60-mile ride, 82-mile, 102-mile or 43-mile Gravel ride! All rides will start from the large parking lot at Eagles Club. Plenty of support with numerous rest stops, food and drinks, Sag Wagon, Bike Resources. June 15, 2019 

Shooting Star Trail Bike Ride

21st Annual Shooting Star Trail Bike Ride. This year's headquarters will be at the Adams City Park which is right on the trail and MN 56. Parking is available in the park or across the highway at the Southland Athletic Field. From Interstate 90, take Exit 184 onto MN Highway 56 toward the south and east 11 miles to Adams. The city park with shelters and rest rooms is on the right. June 22, 2019

Tour de SAVE - Northfield, MN

Join SAVE and local area cycling clubs for the 16th annual Tour de SAVE. The ride supports SAVE’s mission to prevent suicide through public awareness and education, and to reduce the stigma of brain illnesses that affects more than 23 million Americans.

SAVE was one of the nation’s first organizations dedicated to the prevention of suicide. Our work is based on the foundation and belief that suicide is preventable and everyone has a role to play in preventing suicide. Through raising public awareness, educating communities, and equipping every person with the right tools, we know we can SAVE lives.

SAVE is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors and operating under the nonprofit laws of the State of Minnesota. SAVE works at the international, national, state and local levels to prevent suicide using a public health model in suicide prevention; concentrating its efforts on education and awareness. SAVE operates by the guidelines published in the Surgeon Generals Call to Action to Prevent Suicide (1999) and the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention (2012). Over the years, SAVE’s Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers have included survivors who bring a special affinity for suicide prevention, along with other skills, to ensure organizational growth, development and effective management and operational talents to the agency. Firehouse 50 Road Race

Be a part of the excitement! The Firehouse 50 is a bicycle road race of 50.5 miles beginning and ending in Grand View, Wisconsin. This race is on black top roads winding through the pristine Chequamegon National Forest around Lake Namakagon and Lake Owen. It passes through the townships of Grand View, Namakagon, Cable and Drummond. August 2 - 4, 2019

Red Ribbon Ride

Red Ribbon Ride 2019 is a fully supported 3 day, 200 mile bicycle ride from Minneapolis to Duluth, to raise vital funds for HIV/AIDS services, treatment, prevention and awareness. This year's Ride will be held on August 16 - 18, 2019, traveling from Minneapolis to Forest Lake, Camp One Heartland Center, and ending in Duluth. Saturday night we will be staying at Camp One Heartland Center, a beautiful sleepaway camp in North Central MN creating life-changing camp experiences for youth facing social isolation, intolerance or serious health challenges, including HIV. This three-day ride will features onsite housing and delicious home cooked meals, options for camping and all of the beauty and fun One Heartland has to offer (campfire, hiking, swimming, canoeing, goats). Transportation from Duluth to Minneapolis will be available. The Red Ribbon Ride benefits 5 HIV/AIDS service agencies here in Minnesota; African American AIDS Task Force, Hope House of St. Croix Valley, One Heartland, Rural AIDS Action Network and The Aliveness Project. Top of the World Bicycle Tour - Whitehall, Wisconsin

The Top of the World Bicycle Tour in Whitehall, Wisconson explores some of the most beautiful routes you can ride in Trempealeau County. You will actually ride to the highest point in Trempealeau County on the 23, 42, and 60-mile routes. The TOW Ride is held during Beef and Dairy Days, so you will get to enjoy one of the Famous Whitehall Hot Beef sandwiches or the Chicken Q and a beverage. After the meal, riders are encouraged to stay around for the Beef and Dairy Days Parade that starts at 1:30 PM. This is one of Trempealeau Count's best parades! August 19, 2019

Jesse James Bike Tour

The 38th annual Jesse James Bike Tour is scheduled for Saturday, September 7, 2019! The tour is an official event of Defeat of Jesse James Days, one of Minnesota’s largest community celebrations. Held the weekend after Labor Day each year, Defeat of Jesse James Days commemorates the failed bank robbery of 1876 that led to the ultimate downfall of the James-Younger gang. The raid is re-enacted several times throughout the weekend.

This fun ride leads you through scenic southeastern Minnesota. Enjoy the great outdoors and meet new people on one of five routes, each featuring aid stations and refreshments. All proceeds from the ride benefit community projects, including the Mill Towns Trail and Northfield’s Safe Routes to School program. September 7, 2019 

Saint Paul Classic - St. Paul, MN

Discover traffic-free glee on Minnesota's biggest bike tour! The 25th annual Saint Paul Classic Bike Tour will take place on Sunday, September 8, 2019. The Saint Paul Classic is a showcase for the handsome parks and parkways of Saint Paul. Riders can choose a 15, 32, or 47 mile route. The attraction for many riders is the ability to ride with a minimal amount of traffic. Rest stops are spaced evenly throughout the course to provide beautiful views, hot coffee, cool beverages, tasty treats, live music and more! In 2017, riders ranging in age from zero to 89 enjoyed the Classic. Don't miss this family-friendly Saint Paul tradition! September 8, 2019

Minneapolis Bike Tour

The 13th annual Minneapolis Bike Tour starts and ends at beautiful Boom Island and features multiple fully supported routes that take riders through the spectacular park and byway system of Minneapolis at their own pace, traffic free!

Proceeds from the Minneapolis Bike Tour will benefit bike safety and education events for Minneapolis youth as well as bike trail improvement projects throughout the system. September 15, 2019 

Ride the Ridges

The seventh annual RIDE THE RIDGES, set for September 21, 2019, and will again take riders through some of the most scenic areas in Southeastern Minnesota. RTR is the premier bike tour in the region. Wonderfull scenery – from lush valleys along streams to bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River. Choose one of four routes, all having well-stocked rest stops, friendly hosts and SAG support. 21st Annual Autumn Trek

The 21st annual Autumn Trek bike ride starts just east of the Twin Cities at Hoffman Park in River Falls, Wisconsin on September 22, 2019, and takes you through some of the most scenic countryside in Western Wisconsin.

Free t-shirt for each registered rider. Ride t-shirts also available for $20 day of the ride.

The Autumn Trek has excellent rest stops with great food, and even more beautiful scenery. You’ll find excellent route markings, maps, food at rest stops and brats ‘n dogs at ride’s end.

Apple Affair Bike Tour - Galesville, WI

The Bike Tour is a family-oriented event held in Galesville, Wisconsin, on the first Saturday in October in conjunction with the annual Apple Affair. As a sponsor of this event, the Galesville Area Chamber of Commerce is looking for someone to manage the Apple Affair Bike Tour in 2019. Mankato River Ramble

Savor the fall colors on this classic countryside ride. Join us for the ninth annual Mankato River Ramble Bike Tour on October 6, 2019.

Riders can choose 12, 26, or 42 miles of lovely routes, featuring great Rest Stops, ride support, delicious food and beverages, live music and much more. All routes pass through beautiful Sibley Park where the Blue Earth River joins the Minnesota River.
